Ventura College is his First Love

Ventura College is his First Love
Dr. John Woolley attended Pasadena City College in 1956 and it was that community college experience which launched him on his successful career. Dr. Woolley also attended Cal State University, Los Angeles for his Bachelor's degree and then went on to earn two Master's degrees at the University of Arizona and Immaculate Heart College. He completed his Doctorate in higher education administration at Brigham Young University.

Dr. Woolley often says that the California community college system is the greatest educational organization in the world serving the widest range of students. "My education and professional experience are based on the opportunity I had to be a community college student. That is what pointed me in the right direction and made my education affordable." Dr. Woolley served as the Vice-President of Student Services at Ventura College, Vice-President of Administrative Services at Oxnard College, and Dean of Admissions and Records at Ventura College.

Since Ventura College is Dr. Woolley's "first love," he has made arrangements to leave a substantial bequest in his will. This perpetual gift insures his legacy on campus.

You also may want to make it easy and convenient to have a bequest included in your will. The language below shows how a bequest can very easily be included in your will.

I hereby give, devise and bequeath _________ and No/100 dollars ($DOLLARS) to the Ventura College Foundation, a nonprofit organization located at 4667 Telegraph Rd., Ventura, CA, 93003, Federal Tax ID #77-0037747, for the Ventura College Foundation's general use and purpose.
